Through the past 18-plus years, Wendy has earned a reputation for offering solid financial planning and guidance to individuals and families through all phases of life. She strives to provide clarity in the pursuit of important goals, including retirement. “We know our clients well and we care, which translates through the work that we do, as well as our responsiveness and attention to detail,” she says. As a result, she has built many long-term relationships with clients.
As an analytical thinker with a passion for problem solving, Wendy’s first career was at General Motors, where she gained experience with structuring deals between firms and valuing business opportunities which included the potential addition of an in-house private equity fund. During that period she became one of the youngest directors at GM at age 29.
Though the work was intellectually stimulating, she felt a longing for a more purpose-driven life as a financial advisor, helping investors find perspective in a complex and ever-changing world. She joined Raymond James Financial Services in 2002 and has never looked back. She is passionate about her work as an advisor and enjoys the endless pursuit of knowledge, whether she’s studying a particular investment or the facets of behavioral finance.
Wendy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering, with a minor in management from Kettering University, an MBA from Harvard, and the Wealth Management Specialist certification, having completed courses on the fundamentals of wealth accumulation and management for high-net-worth individuals. She holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 licenses, and is also licensed in variable annuities, life and disability insurance.
Originally from Linden, Michigan, she now lives in Clarkston with her children, Zane and Ava. Wendy enjoys traveling, reading and all things outdoors, including gardening.
