Marlinda carries a diverse set of responsibilities that include assisting clients and the team with operational details. Marlinda is the point person for special projects that range from client communication to office operations. As a Resident Producer, Marlinda is responsible for annuity new business, overseeing the underwriting process as well as keeping up with regulations and changes to laws pertaining to the application process and servicing requirements. She is well suited for this position given her eye for detail, outgoing nature and ability to work well with a variety of personalities and situations.

Marlinda joined Southworth & Wilson in 2009 after returning from Colorado where she lived for many years. She worked for 11 years as an Executive Assistant supporting teams in the following industries: Investigations & Intelligence, Aerospace, Propane and Manufactured Housing. Marlinda earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Oakland University.

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Marlinda and her husband, David and their daughter, Marissa live in Lake Orion. Marlinda enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her family lives an active lifestyle and they are always up for experiencing a new adventure together. In addition, Marlinda dedicates her free time to serving others through volunteer work in many areas of her community.
