Julia has the responsibility of applying the practice’s discretionary trading platform in the management of accounts and investments. Since joining Southworth & Wilson back in 2006, Julia has shown great dedication and loyalty. She takes pride in working closely with clients on complex issues affecting their accounts. She also works with Wendy to implement and manage the customized financial planning strategies created for clients.

Julia’s precise and methodical ways have served her well throughout her career. Before joining Raymond James in 2006, she served as database administrator for the Lothian and Borders Police Headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to that, she worked as a customer service officer for the Bank of Scotland, IT Division, in Edinburgh, working with technical documentation. To fulfill her responsibilities today at Raymond James, she holds Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses. She has also earned the Wealth Management Specialist designation by completing coursework on the fundamentals of wealth accumulation and management.

Originally from Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland, Julia lives in Oakland, Michigan with her husband, Brian, and their son, Dylan. They love spending time with family and friends and, for Julia, she enjoys nothing more than a round of golf with Brian and Dylan.
